Student Colloquia
As of 2008, CIRMMT students have begun organizing specialized colloquia on topics of interest to the student membership. The first theme to be established is Music Technology. All student members are welcome to participate in this series. Please contact us if you would like assistance in establishing a new colloquium topic.

- Johanna Devaney is a Montreal-based composer/theorist. Her compositional interests are both electronic and acoustic, while her theoretical work is focused modeling performance practice. She is currently working on a PhD in the Department of Music Research at the Schulich School of Music, McGill University where she is currently studying with Ichiro Fujinaga.

- Fernando Falci de Souza has Bachelor degrees in Computer Science (1997-2001) at the University of Sao Paulo, and Music: Popular Acoustic Bass (2003-2007) at Santa Marcelina Faculty. He is a Master degree candidate since 2008 and his research is concentrated on applications of Interative Genetic Algorithms to Granular Sound Synthesis.
